  1. EXCELLENT BUY! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 30th Nov 2010

I've purchased 6 of these in the past few weeks and look forward to buying 4 more next week. excellent buy! well priced and these last !! we average 115+ hours a week on these units, and they go the distance. you can't beat the pricing and Consignia's extended warranty is easily affordable. I look forward to buying these as long as you can keep getting them! Thank You Jason!

  2. Refurbished or New? 5 Star Review

Posted by on 23rd Sep 2010

For starters I was expecting a used projector but this unit came brand new right out of the box! The contents were unopened in their original packaging. Nothing missing! Not only did I save money buying refurbished, it still came with a warranty and a brand new lamp. Installing and calibrating the projector was challenging at first but learning the menu panel is quick and therefore becomes a non-issue. The 2400 lumens makes it amazingly bright and crisp with or without lights. This allows me the flexibility to watch sports and movies. Watching regular DVD movies was great but when I switched to HD 720p movies, the difference blew me away. The fan noise and heat is very tolerable and negligible. The only weakness I've witnessed is that the range with the zoom lens is very limited, but apparently this is one of the drawbacks with DLP technology vs LCD, but the DLP give better picture quality at this price range so the sacrifice is worth it. This means that you need to know your distance between your screen andunit in order to project correctly without overlapping. Other than that this projector, for its price, is worth every cent. Not only am I happy with my purchase but the before and after sale service was admirable. Jason, from Consignia, who dealt with me, took the time to answer all my questions openly and honestly of which I don't see often now-a-days. Without a doubt, I definitely recommend this projector!
